During a heavy monsoon flood, a young widow and her doting mother-in-law waits with their family for the waters to recede, so they can hold the funeral of their loved one. But as the floodwaters rise, they are forced to confront long-buried secrets and lies that threaten their unity.

Christo Tomy is a two-time National Award-winning director and an alumnus of the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. He is the writer-director of Malayalam feature film Ullozhukku (Undercurrent) starring Parvathy Thiruvothu and the veteran Malayalam actor Urvashi. Prior to it, he directed the Netflix True Crime show, Curry and Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case. He served as a member of the jury for the non-feature films at the 65th National Film Awards.
