An elderly couple from Mumbai want a peaceful and dignified end of life. They jointly seek the right to die together with dignity. After 53 years together, they wait in quietude for official response, often engaging in light hearted banter over their marriage, love, patriarchy and social taboos.

An indie filmmaker, advertising professional, published poet, entrepreneur and guest lecturer, Sumira loves telling stories across mediums. She is passionate about shifting perspectives, provoking reflection and sparking inclusive conversations. Sumira is a yoga enthusiast and meditation practitioner, dance floor burner, addicted traveller, lover of Haiku and 35 mm. She is a post graduate from Rikkyo University, Tokyo, Japan.
